Only amateurs can participate.
Every other fighting sport´s bouts made must be pointed and accounted.
Declaration of Non-Pregnancy and Fit to Box is mandatory for all.


REFEREES AND JUDGES:
We want more R&J from different countries, we want better decisions
• All National Teams must bring R&J
• All Clubs with more than 8 Athletes must bring R&J
• All Clubs or Associations under 7 Athletes may bring R&J

COMPETITION EQUIPMENT:
• 3 (three) Rings will be used simultaneously during the entire competition, with the official dimensions;
• LOC will ensure all the other competitive equipment, including properly licensed gloves and headguards;
• All athletes have to wear blue or red according to their corner. We will not allow blue clothing in the red corner for example.

COMPETITION SET UP:
• There will be 3 (three) days of boxing competition;
• Athletes will be drawn according to their age and weight categories and then they will meet in pairs following the order drawn in a competition diagram, consisting of 8 (eight) boxers each;
• Athletes who win their bouts advance in the competition until they eliminate all their opponents, being declared champions in their respective category;
• Athletes who don´t win their matches will be eliminated from the competition at the 1st defeat.
• Other considerations:
o LOC will try to evenly distribute the highest possible number of athletes from different nationalities, in order to offer higher competitive chances to everyone;
o LOC has the right to change athletes between the competition diagrams (either by nationality or boxing experience), to have a better and fairer competition for all.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• All boxers must bring their record book with annual medicals duly completed and updated;
• All Boxers must bring their valid passport or their ID.
• All Girls must bring their Declaration of Non-Pregnancy.

SCORING SYSTEM:
• The Scoring System will be based on a “Ten Point Must-System”.

OFFICIAL DRAW:
The Tournament official Draw will take place at the Multiusos Pavilion in Odivelas on Friday, December 6, 2019, at 01pm, open exclusively to Coaches and Clubs Officials.

AWARDS:
The Tournament LOC will:
• Provide a participation diploma to all athletes as a way of thanking them for their prestigious presence;
• Boxing Belts for all Elite Champions
• Award the athletes who finish in the first 3 places of each category, receiving a Gold, Silver or Bronze Medal;
• Give a Trophy to the best male and female athletes, for all age categories, best team in School Age, best team in Elite, best bout of tournament, best R&J present in the competition.

PRATICE:
During the ODIVELAS BOX CUP 2019 period, all athletes can train at the competition venue, the Multiusos Pavilion, where they will have a large room for training and sparring.

TECHNICAL MEETING:
On Thursday, December 05, the traditional Technical Meeting will be held for Coaches and Club Managers only, where the Tournament and the Competition´s rules and conditions will be presented.

TECHNICAL AND SPORTS SUPERVISION:
• The Technical and Sports Supervision of the Tournament will be under the aegis of Portuguese Boxing Associations and will abide by AIBA rules and principles;
• LOC will guarantee the Bad behavior will be punished during the Tournament, we cannot admit that Coaches and Athletes spoil fair play. 1st Warning, 2nd Exit FOP, 3rd Exit Tournament.
• LOC will guarantee the necessary physicians and their medical staff to provide sufficient manpower to a tournament of this magnitude and ensure, that they are always present and available at all stages, including during mandatory testing requests and medical inspections before the competition and will certify, that they are in the best physical and psychological conditions to compete; All medical decisions will have to be respected.
• All participants are requested to get their own travel and medical insurance;
• LOC will count with the local fire department, who will be equipped with their Ambulance.
